On your wedding day, he also draws on his background in both hospitality and Hollywood to assist DJs, work photo booths, and help ensure your celebration exceeds expectations.

My Story
Growing up in Lancaster County, Alburn discovered a love for theater and live performance in high school. While studying theater at Goshen College, the digital filmmaking revolution made long-form video storytelling accessible to everyone. He began his career on America’s Next Top Model as a production assistant, driving DVDs across Los Angeles so network executives could review them. By apprenticing with and assisting editors, he learned from some of the most talented craftspeople in the industry. He’s been an editor on network & cable television, gameshows, reality shows, web comedies, and docu-soaps.

When his Los Angeles–based work went remote, Alburn and his wife moved to Lancaster, finding a new community while staying connected to the Hollywood. At 3 West, the team ensures a smooth experience for both clients and staff, and the creativity assembled made it easy to the crew. After the wedding day, Alburn’s latest challenge is shaping the footage captured by the videographers into a story that couples and their friends will want to watch again and again.

My Style
When Alburn isn’t swaying to the DJ’s set, he’s jamming to Radiohead, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, or Sublime. The edit bay has a more relaxed vibe than a film set, so one day he might be casual jeans and a dress shirt, and the next it could be shorts and a graphic tee. On your wedding day, it’s all about looking professional but being able to fade into the background. He has edited everything from Top Model’s over-the-top photo shoots to quiet, intimate moments with a new mother. Let him and the team at 3 West tell your story!
